OUE-Tell us a bit about yourself and your company?

ANS- Omobolanle a.k.a Mobby  is an international trained makeup artist and Bridal consultant from London College of Makeup and certified by The International Makeup Association. She holds a B.Sc in Accounting from the university of Ado Ekiti, and MBA in Marketing from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. Ogbomoso.

She has 8years experience in Banking. She is a former staff of the New National Bank,Oceanic bank and Ecobank . But due to overwhelming remarks from people about her creativity in makeup artistry and the joy she derives each time she handles makeup tools,  she resigned from banking to go into what gives her joy and fulfillment; makeup artistry.

Mobby Classic was birth due to my passion for fashion and beauty. Friends, colleagues and family made me realised this God’s given talents on time due to their frequent booking for party makeup and Gele.
Our Vision is to be the foremost provider of makeup artistry that makes out clients centre of attraction at every events using competent personnel and superior resources.
Our Mission is to consistently provide professional makeup artistry solutions and services that are effective, efficient and collaborative to our clients making them stand out at every events using the most modern kits/Vos metrics, well traoned and properly motivated staffs making us the most sought after makeup artistry company in Nigeria and beyond.
QUE.-When did you know a career in beauty was for you?
ANS- 2005

QUE- What has been the biggest challenge of your career? 

ANS– My biggest challenge being a makeup artist is to remain up to date with the new trends and fashion. Fashion industry evolves on daily basis and the expertise has to be upgraded accordingly.

QUE- What was your first job as a makeup artist?

ANS- It was a bridal job. I tried to stylishly dodged it but the lady believe so much in me. I stayed totally awake a day to the event…lol.. Thinking what to apply to which part etc. At the end i was applauded for it and brought few more jobs but in my quiet moment I still wish I’d done it better.
QUE-Best advice you got from another makeup artist when you started?
ANS- Don’t follow crowd…Have your own signature and take time to perfect your work. Don’t make money your priority.
QUE-What are your hobbies or non-work-related activities?

ANS- Singing, shopping and travelling

QUE-What is your current favourite makeup Wedding styles?

ANS- Soft Romantic Makeup  (Nude)

QUE-Are there any trends that you absolutely love or would love to see brides leave behind?

ANS- I love the fact that people are rocking smokey eyes for a white wedding  and Bride should please leave strong pink lips behind.

QUE-What do you love most about your job?

ANS- “The after” The fact that people can look at themselves in the mirror after their session and cheese from ear to ear. Putting smiles on faces and  building their self confidence.

The essence of a makeover is to enhance ones beauty. I am passionate about this and so i pay attention to details.

QUES- Do you have a beauty muse who inspired you?

ANS- YES! a whole lot of them! Mario Dedivanovic (Kim Kardashian makeup Artist), Alaina of Color Dufour etc

QUE-What is your favourite look for fall?

ANS- Matte lips in plum or goths like dark hues, orange blush, neutral eyeshadow.
